Mission

  • Serve as a communication and coordination focal point for the US Rosaceae genomics, genetics and breeding community.
  • Define research priorities based on input from the industry and research community.
  • Facilitate scientific interaction and foster dynamic research teams.
  • Promote research priorities.
  • Coordinate educational efforts from the research community to the industry and the public.

Membership 2010

Five new members elected to the 2010 RosEXEC Committee

New U.S. members : Ksenija Gasic, Amy Iezzoni, Jay Norelli, John Clark and Kevin Folta.
New International Liasion members : David Chagne and Herman Silva (re-elected)

All incoming US members will serve a three-year term from January 2010 to January 2013 and the international liasion members will serve a two-year terms from from January 2010 to January 2012.

Thanks to departing members Albert Abbott, Abhaya Dandekar, Chad Finn, Korban Schuyler, Gennaro Fazio and Dan Sargent for their excellent service. See the membership page for more details on the current and former USRosEXEC Committees.

The USRosEXEC committees are currently being reorganized and on their completion new forums will be created in GDR for them.
