Title: Strawberry Genomics Workshop at PAG XXVIII (January 2020)
We are pleased to announce that a 'Strawberry Genomics' workshop will be held again at Plant and Animal Genome Conference. It will likely be held again on Monday evening (January 13th, 2020) from 4-6:10pm. We have a fantastic lineup of confirmed speakers for this year! But we still have available timeslots for two more speakers. Please reach out to either of us if you are interested presenting this year and/or simply submit an abstract. Abstract submission on the PAG website (https://www.intlpag.org/2020/) will likely begin around October 1st. In addition, we are in the process of organizing a more informal 'International Strawberry Genomics' meeting (open to everyone) to discuss ongoing efforts in strawberry genomics, establish new collaborations, and make any other announcements to the community. The day and time is yet to be determined (depending on room availability). We will try to arrange for it to be prior to the 'Strawberry Genomics' workshop. An update with final date and time will be posted here on GDR. Please also email us to be added to a group email for more regular updates.
