The Fruit and Nut Cultivars Database collects the entries published in the Register of New Fruit and Nut Varieties and the Register of New Fruit and Nut Cultivars since its inception in 1944. It includes cultivar names, synonyms and trademarks; origins, pedigrees, and breeders; patent numbers and dates; and descriptions of trees, plants, fruits, and nuts. It is intended to serve fruit and nut researchers and stakeholders, including germplasm curators, geneticists, breeders, intellectual property managers, nurseries, horticulturists, growers, and fruit marketers.
