Tutorial: Marker Search (Search Nearby Markers)

Marker Search is a site where users can search for molecular markers in the GDR marker database. Two search interfaces are available: 'advanced marker search' and 'search nearby markers'. In 'Advanced Marker Search' users can perform combinatorial query using categories such as name, type, species, anchored position in genome and/or genetic map position. 'Search Nearby Markers' site allows users to obtain a list of all loci that are within a specified distance of the particular locus on any genetic map.

Type a marker locus name (eg. CPPCT016) and a distance (eg. 30) to view all the map position of the marker locus and the neighboring markers within the specified region.
