CommentsFruit: size small, 40-60 mm; skin 70-90% red, striped; shape round-conic; flesh firm, nearly white; flavor acid, astringent, bitter; eating quality inedible; harvest season late September, 2 weeks before Delicious. Tree: productive; extremely biennial cropping; fruits borne in clusters; very susceptible to fire blight, rating 9; premature defoliation. English cider apple. R.D. Way, 1993. (P.I. received 1949 from Long Ashton Res. Sta., Bristol, England). "Not True as Tremletts Bitter, but still nice; maybe should call it 'Tremletts Geneva'
